JCI - MANILA RECOGNIZED AS BEST NGO PARTNER AWARDEE

The much-awaited State-of-the-Nation Farewell Address of the Philippine President, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo happens on Monday, July 27, 2009, at the Batasan Pambansa Complex in Quezon City. To be deployed from the police force are over 10,000 men, to safeguard the perimeters of the area, alongside another 12,000 brave men who will be assigned too, at the annual celebration of Iglesia ni Cristo’s anniversary.

These scheduled deployments though, will not deter the strong Institution of the Philippine Police Force in remembering to pay tribute to their non-government organization-partners that have worked and stood by them in trying times. To be recognized in a simple yet meaningful ceremony are the Manila Jaycees and Basilio Foundation, both of which have immensely contributed in the maintenance of peace and order in the City of Manila. History has it that these organizations have both contributed too, in uplifting the morale and welfare of the MPD personnel.

Manila’s Finest, who is celebrating the 14th Police Community Relations (of the PNP) with the rest of the Police Force, likewise credits the Government Directorate headed by Director Artemio Vitangcol III and Chair Mark Siapno.

And for all the collaborative and selfless initiatives of President Mark Ong, and Past President Louie Basilio, congratulations! These fine gentlemen will receive the BEST NGO PARTNER AWARD on behalf of their respective organizations, on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the MPD Parade Ground, right after the Monday MPD Flag Ceremony.
